My favourite weekend blueberry & matcha porridge. During the week I like to have my matcha early as a drink to set me up for a busy day in the office or out with clients but at the weekend I like to experiment a little more with other ways to have matcha for breakfast… this blueberry porridge is one of my all time favourites! Fresh blueberries, milk, organic honey, half a teaspoon of matcha, porridge oats, flax seed, chai & linseed. I like to blend it and then pop in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Serve with some blueberries on top a tiny drizzle of honey and a splash of cold milk… porridge perfection ???? and the honey and oats are great for digestion!
One of our all time favourite ways to start each day is with a fruity Matcha Smoothie! Throw in a banana, a handful of blueberries and strawberries, a teaspoon of organic honey and a dribble of vanilla extract. This recipe is delicious and keeps you full until lunch! This smoothie is packed with antioxidant properties, the vanilla and strawberries are great for your skin and the honey is brilliant for your digestive system (TMI I know!) P.S If you feel like an extra creamy smoothie put in a spoonful of yoghurt (I like the Yeo Valley Blueberry one!) Enjoy….
